Jewelry in Full Bloom

Spring is a season of renewal. The frigid, snowy weather is behind us and anything seems possible.

Wearing a flower ring or a bouquet of colored stone earrings is an enchanting way to express your enthusiasm for spring. Butterflies are graceful and signify evolution and freedom. Lastly, a floral statement necklace will display color so vividly, that it will make people smile just looking at you.

I was born in the spring and the first child in my family to experience this beautiful, fresh season. I hope everyone can appreciate this invigorating time of year with jewelry pieces that are in full bloom.

Purple Crush

Purple is my new jewelry color crush. It celebrates the amethyst February birthstone beautifully. The color purple is highly pigmented and brings a richness as well as lushness to your look.

Purple is the color of royalty and differs from blue or red. It is not cold like blue and not overly warm like red. Purple says, here I am without being loud or ostentatious.

No matter the hue, purple will add color to your look in the most luxurious way!

Raising the Bar

Bar jewelry offers a simple architectural design element that will enhance your jewelry collection. It can be utilized as a closure or it can exist as the focal point of the piece.

J.Hannah’s Victorian T-Bar Bracelet makes a simple, albeit tasteful statement. Stephen Dweck’s Orogento 6 Strand Hand Weave Sterling Silver Bracelet has the most beautiful bar closure as with most of his pieces. The Gold T-Bar Drop Earrings by Tilly Sveaas exhibit an eye-catching linear design that boasts versatility.

What I like most about bar jewelry is that anyone, with or without a discerning eye will appreciate this design concept because it is both attractive and functional.

Evening Jewelry

Evening jewelry has a special glamour that will put you in the mood to go out on the town! Selecting jewelry pieces for evening wear creates an element of excitement that will have you dreaming about it through out the day.

If your jewelry style is casual or professional during the day, you might want to step things up a bit. You could choose to replace, add more, or simply adjust the placement of each piece in a strategic way.

Diamonds and crystals sparkle tauntingly when it is dark outside and catches the attention of everyone around you. Pearls produce a soft angelic glow that always impresses. Colored stones add a celebratory feel to your outfit, no matter how simple.

Evening jewelry is the perfect time to express your desires, your sweetness, and drama to your evening.

Monochrome Jewelry

I like the neutrality of black and white. There is something stark, yet telling about wearing jewelry items that lack vivid color.

Black evokes both mystery and stability, while white promotes purity and peace. Both colors form a beautiful balance that can be grounding, especially in today’s chaotic world.

Sporting black and white will always feel modernly chic. Try taking a short break from bright colors and you might find yourself blending into a world of stability and peace.

Jewelry Treats

Care for a jewelry treat? If yes, I have a fun list of goodies for you! These jewelry items are enticing, albeit non ingestible. Nonetheless, they are whimsical and delightful to wear.

I have had a lot of fun researching these pieces of jewelry. For one, I enjoy a good treat, and second, these jewelry designs are intricately delicious. Gumballs are colorful, cupcakes are creamy, and chocolate chips are rich. Potato chips, popcorn, and pretzels give me that salty satisfaction that I crave after eating something sweet.

Whether you opt for sweet or savory, jewelry treats can be worn on your body, or stored in your jewelry cupboard. Either way, they are calorie free!

Falling for Fall

Fall is my season of choice. The air is fresher and the colors are deeper. Everything around me is crisp with a romantic autumn vibe.

As I walk outside, I admire the branches on the trees, falling leaves, and all of that caramel glow. My beautiful surroundings comfort me and bring me to a relaxed sigh.

This particular season is special to me because there is new hope in the world. There is the possibility of love, a new job, new friends, and new delicious recipes to try!

Whether you are enjoying the beautiful fall foliage outside, or choose to wear it on your body, jewelry during this season will not disappoint.

Go Fish

Fish jewelry is surprisingly popular at the moment. I see fish everywhere I go. In a fashion metropolis such as New York City, you will find them more out of the water than in it.

Beyond the sea there is a world filled with fashion jewelry at your disposal. Try fishing out a few quirky pieces that will blow others right out of the water.

From metal to colored stones, fish jewelry will win over even the most squeamish of beach lovers who tend to shy away from the water.

Going Green

Green jewelry symbolizes nature and will add an element of earthiness as well as elegance to your jewelry collection. The combination of green and gold is stunning. Imagine the rays of the sun shining down on a tree. That is an effect that I find extraordinary.

Emerald, tourmaline, tsavorite, and green quartz are dazzling, while aventurine, green agate, chrysoprase, and jade have an opaqueness that is more subdued. All of these green colored stones are perfectly saturated in their own special way.

If you are thinking of going green, try pairing these green jewelry pieces with your summer wardrobe and you will feel its essence from the top of your head down to your toes.

Jewelry by Numbers

Are you fascinated by numbers? Try adding numbers to your jewelry collection and see how things round out.

The fun thing about numeral charms is that they are transposable. You can wear them with a necklace, bracelet, and earrings in the most math friendly way.

Try integrating diamonds, gemstones, beads and other interesting trinkets that will add chicness to the numeral of your choice. Have fun enumerating and let the jewelry tell a number story about you.
